Total Quality Management And The Quality Of The Consumers (Essay Sample) Content: TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM)Quality program tactics are usually implemented in the TQM to ensure that the delivery of the products produced fits the quality of the consumers. Some of the tactics include the 5S, designing quality in and the kaizen. As per the first task, in my own experience, I have been involved in the Kaizen which is a Japanese word that just means a change for the better. This refers to any improvement, whether long term or one time, big or small but merely just necessary development.To carry out this process, one has to identify the areas which require improvement. These areas can be identified through keenly assessing the quality of the services or goods produced by the company. This can be done through surveying the satisfaction of the customers, self-assessment or through reviews done formally in within the organization.
